All-County Prom Update-- Date Set

June 4 2020

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. As Klamath County begins the process of reopening, we would like to give an update about the planning of the All Community Prom event. At this time, we are still planning this event and are planning an in-person event to be held in early July. At this moment, we are working on ways to have a contact tracing system in place at the event per state standards.

At this time, Klamath County has not seen a significant spike in COVID-19 related illnesses. Since reopening, Klamath County has seen three new cases of COVID-19. This is very promising to us as we begin to plan this event and get more of the details in line.

At this time, we are announcing that July 10th is the date of the event at Mike’s Field House from 7:00-11:00 PM.

This date is fluid as Klamath County begins the process of entering stage two of the reopening plan. We will continue to work with Klamath County Public Health as well as local leadership to ensure that this event is safe for all of our attendees.

With an in-person event, comes different challenges. We are working with the venue and with our vendors to ensure that we can be socially responsible while still having a good time.

More updates on event logistics such as refreshments, our RSVP and check-in system, as well as what will be offered at the event will be coming soon.

We are still in search of parent and community volunteers. Please contact us using the above information if you would like to volunteer your time.

Thank you, we look forward to this event and making a fun night for our high school seniors.

Roberts Sound Consulting Says Goodbye to Lead Consultant

June 3 2020

Roberts Sound Consulting is saying farewell to our Lead Event Consultant, Connor Cherpeski. Cherpeski has been with the company for over three years serving as one of the members of the leadership staff as well as being one of the best consultants in the area when it comes to large and small events.

“Connor has been an integral part of our team the last three years,” said Cooper Roberts, President, and Owner of Roberts Sound Consulting LLC. “Connor really helped us become a great company. He has really been there since the beginning,” Roberts continued. Cherpeski has been a part of the company ever since it became more than one person DJing high school proms and became the sound system provider and large-scale event planning organization it is today

Cherpeski is graduating with honors from Klamath Union High School on June 7th and will be going on to West Point to pursue a career as an officer in the United States Military. “While I am very sad to see Connor go, I am proud of where he is headed and know he will go on to do wonderful things,” Roberts continued.

As RSC moves forward, Connor’s position will need to be filled. “We will be hiring for this position in the future,” Roberts said, “We do need to do some re-tooling and make sure we are on the other side of this pandemic before we make and large hiring decisions.”

All of us at Roberts Sound Consulting wish Connor the best in his future endeavors.
